About Amber
Hello! I'm Amber, the one behind this whole shindig. My background is as a high school Spanish teacher and translator. I later became a stay at home mom and somehow converted part of my home into a custom printing studio along the way. Is that random or what?! It kind of came out of nowhere. I started with a Cricut and went down a rabbit hole of exploring more professional technologies and taking online classes to dabble in graphic design. Covid happened and sublimation printing became my escape. Before long, I found myself fed up with my starter sublimation printer so I tracked down the only professional printer in stock in Austin, took the seats out of the mini van, and drove across town to get it. I figured I had better sell some stuff to justify the impulse buy and here I am- ha!
Product customization has turned into something that I truly love. The things I miss most about the classroom are the opportunities to be creative, to be silly, and to connect. This fills those same buckets in a different way. I've lived here in Leander for most of my adult life. I've raised my kids here and I've been a part of the community. It makes me happy to put my heart into projects for those that cross my path, knowing that many of them are my neighbors, local teachers, fellow small business owners, or a friend of a friend of a friend. I love to see a concept through from start to finish and experience its evolution. That often means sleeping on it and doing multiple edits until it feels right. My poor husband is forced hear my thought process every step of the way. Not to be creepy, but he knows all of your names and the story behind every order.
My skill set and product offerings have continued to grow over the years. Y'all keep asking me if I can do XYZ and my usual answer is...well, I haven't done that yet, but I bet I can figure it out! That's why I now offer sublimation printing, direct to film printing, screen print transfers, and vinyl. I have dozens of products to choose from and the designs that we can create to go on them are endless. I've learned to scale and effectively mass produce so that I can serve small businesses and fundraising efforts, but I'm still here for those customers just needing that one special thing.
That's my story! So what should we make together?
